Single Binary in Go
Starts in milliseconds and idles at under 25MB of RAM. No bloated runtime, no Java, no Node daemon. Just clean compiled machine code.
Tenkura Host is an always-on server daemon written in Go for Linux, macOS, and Windows. It powers lossless music streaming for Wave, orchestrates local models for Cove, and manages local vault backups—with zero external cloud dependencies.
Starts in milliseconds and idles at under 25MB of RAM. No bloated runtime, no Java, no Node daemon. Just clean compiled machine code.
Your library data is saved to a single local `.db` file on your disk. You can back it up, copy it, or query it with standard SQL tools anytime.
Fully compatible with the OpenSubsonic specification. Stream your collection seamlessly to Tenkura Wave or any Subsonic player in the world.
Unlike legacy streaming servers that decode and analyze audio on the fly (causing CPU spikes and battery drain on mobile), Tenkura Host automatically pre-computes waveform byte arrays when your library is indexed.
When you play a track in Tenkura Wave, the waveform visual renders instantly with zero audio lag.
Install and start Tenkura Host as a system service with a single command:
curl -sSL https://tenkura.studio/install-host.sh | bash
For home labs and Unraid/TrueNAS setups, run via Docker:
